CycloneCenter Participation for March&April 2015
Welcome to May. The following summarizes two recent months (since I missed doing this report last month). March and April were relatively good months. We had nearly 12,000 classifications in March and 9000 classifications in April.
For March 2015, we had 12,197 classifications of 770 storms from 617 citizen scientists (with 53 returning scientists and 556 new this month).
For April 2015, we had 9440 classifications of 271 storms from 477 citizen scientists (with 46 returning scientists and 431 new this month).
This month there was some movement on the Bretarn Board where a few people swapped places.
Also, stay tuned for an exciting announcement regarding the recently accepted journal article.
When classifying, ask questions and make comments on our Talk page to learn more about weather and hurricanes.
Thank you to all for making CycloneCenter.org a great success! Keep making classifications.
